Product Introduction
Potassium bicarbonate is used as a raw material for the production of potassium carbonate, potassium acetate, potassium arsenite, etc. It is also used in industries such as petroleum and chemical fire extinguishing agents. It can also be used in medicine and baking powder.
Molecular formula: KHCO3
Appearance: White crystals
Usage: Used as a raw material for the production of potassium carbonate, potassium acetate, potassium arsenite, etc. It is also used in industries such as petroleum and chemical fire extinguishing agents. It can also be used in medicine and baking powder.
Property: Relative density 2.17, stable in air. Soluble in water, weakly alkaline due to hydrolysis. The aqueous solution does not precipitate basic salts with magnesium salts. Difficult to dissolve in alcohol. It begins to decompose at 100 ℃ and completely decomposes at 200 ℃, losing carbon dioxide and water to form potassium carbonate.
Storage and transportation: Store in a ventilated and dry warehouse. It should not be stored in a shed or outdoors, and attention should be paid to moisture prevention. During transportation, loading and unloading should be protected from rain to ensure dryness and packaging is not damaged or contaminated. Cannot be stored and transported together with acids. Water can be used for rescue in case of fire.
The fineness of potassium bicarbonate products produced by our company can reach 200 mesh
